Three days of sheer emotion ...
San Pedro Country Music Festival 2006
Another challenge under way. After the third edition of the
festival many people asked themselves and now what? How do
we overcome this?
We in fact, ask ourselves how do we improve it. Because during
the long hours before the festival and during the fast passing
hours of the show, we believed once more that the gathering
of a lot of people with one passion in common was possible.
There were three editions of the festival and we learnt something
from each of them. The fourth one, that will not go for less
but that will go for more, will also be a lesson.
We read all the surveys, checked every answer and evaluated
from the artistic point of view everything that had to be
considered.
Those who work for country2.com and those who supported and
support this group of friends and country music lovers with
that shared liking for good music and good people, announce
officially the Fourth San Pedro Country Music Festival that
will take place in the city of San Pedro on Friday 29th, Saturday
30th of September and Sunday 1st of October,
Yes, THREE DAYS. Three days, that in fact will be two and
a half, since the first day will start at sunset and the remaining
days, the way we are used to, will be from dawn to dusk.
We chose a new place with which we win some things and lose
others. Time and results will provide us with the answers.
The Public Walk of the San Pedro City Hall has in its heart
a bigger, higher and safer stage for the entertainers. Besides,
it provides a better control of safety and logistics of a
mega show in which, we think, more than 400 people will be
collaborating.
San Pedro City Hall provides again an important support for
this party. Local and national sponsors will contribute to
cover for the expenses of such an important event.
The entertainers, as usual, have already started to confirm
their presence. We hope that many more will follow suit. In
a few weeks, we will start working, resorting to the coherence
and team spirit that a party like this requires, on the scheduling
of the program that will be balanced and attractive during
the three days of the Festival.
We never imagined that we would go so far with this dream.
Never. If it happened that way, we owe to all those who have
been with us from the beginning. We are about to have a fourth
festival together. A new encounter in the City of San Pedro
… excuse us, Saint Petersville, to enjoy intensely the
great party of country music in Argentina.
