On the way to the third Festival ...
The city of San Pedro has been, during two years, the most
important meeting place of South American country music. The
first and second editions of the San Pedro Country Music Festival
were held in this city.
It is a free show held at the Amphitheater of the San Pedro
ravines, at the foot of the last Station of a natural Way
of The Cross, with a great view of the San Pedro stream.
In 2003, September 27 and 28, 21 bands from Argentina, Brazil
and Chile, with a bigger attendance on the second day of more
than 3,000 people (the show on the first day was called off
due to rainy weather).
In 2004, September 25 and 26, the amount of entertainers
increased to 36. They came from other provinces of Argentina,
Chile, Brazil, Peru, Uruguay and Mexico. The attendance of
public greatly increased and at times there were more than
6,000 people together in the Amphitheater.
This show is organized by Country2.com and it is sponsored
by the San Pedro Town Hall together with a group of companies
and businesses of the area that understand the importance
of the growth of a popular, friendly and unprecedented party
in South America.
We are already working for the 3° edition that will take
place on September 24 and 25, 2005 in the same place and with
